Hello friend,
A quick little dog story for your Wednesday.
Because sometimes all we need is a tiny reminder that dogs have a way of turning an ordinary week into a whole adventure.
This week’s story comes from Northumberland, England, where a dog named Bruce ended up in quite the situation.
Bruce, an Alsatian, was in an inflatable kayak while his owner swam nearby. Then a strong gust of wind carried the kayak away from shore.
And just like that…
Bruce was suddenly on an unexpected solo sea voyage.
Thankfully, search-and-rescue crews were called, and a local boat crew eventually spotted him nearly three miles from shore. When they reached him, Bruce fell into the water, but one of the crew members quickly pulled him aboard.
He was cold, wet, and probably very ready to file a formal complaint with management.
The crew wrapped him in towels, gave him water, and got him safely back to shore, where he was reunited with his relieved owner.

And honestly? That’s your midweek reminder:
Dogs may not always understand the plan…
…but they definitely know how to become the main character.

Woofy’s Pawfessional Advice
If your dog had a diary, today’s entry would probably be dramatic.
“Dear Diary,
I survived the vacuum, was denied a second breakfast, and no one praised me enough for barking at absolutely nothing.”
So this week, give your dog an extra belly rub.
Not because they earned it.
Because according to them, they always do.

Stay Woofy,
